During treatment patients should be monitored closely and frequently. The risks and benefits of individual patients should be carefully considered before each treatment.
The dose of fluorouracil and the treatment regimen depend on the treatment regimen chosen, the indication, the patient’s condition and previous treatments received. Treatment regimens vary in the combination of 5-fluorouracil with other cytotoxic agents or with the dose of folinic acid used concomitantly.
Adult and elderly patients receiving 5-fluorouracil should be monitored before each dose for hematologic (platelet, leukocyte and granulocyte counts), gastrointestinal (stomatitis, diarrhea, GI tract bleeding) and neurologic toxicity, and, if necessary, the dose of 5-fluorouracil should be reduced or withheld.
Preoperative chemotherapy with the ECF regimen (epirubicin, cisplatin, fluorouracil) is currently recommended. The recommended dose of fluorouracil is 200 mg/m2 body surface area per day administered as a continuous intravenous infusion for 3 weeks. Six cycles are recommended, but will depend on the success of the treatment and the patient’s tolerance to the drug.
Hydrocyanic Acid Safety Data Sheet
The invention relates to skin care products comprising between 0.01 and 1.0% by weight of chitosan in dissolved salt form and between 10 and 500 ppm zinc in dissolved salt form contained in an aqueous carrier preferably also containing surfactants, soluble thickening agents, emulsified oily components or mixtures thereof. The skin care products have a soothing effect on irritated skin and can be used for the prevention of acne. Preferably salts of hydroxycarboxylic acids, such as chitosan glycolate and zinc gluconate are used. The invention relates to skin care products comprising between 0.01 and 1.0% of their chitosan weight in the form of dissolved salt and between 10 and 500 ppm of zinc in the form of dissolved salt contained in an aqueous support that preferably also contains surfactants, soluble thickening agents, emulsified oily components or mixtures thereof. The INCI list (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) is a mandatory nomenclature for cosmetics since 1999. Created in 1973 by an American association, the INCI list (or list of ingredients) aims to standardize the ingredients present in a cosmetic product. The manufacturer is not obliged to indicate the percentage concentration of each ingredient due to “manufacturing secrecy”. However, they are classified as “mandatory” in reverse order of concentration (at least) for those classified at more than 1%. Below 1%, the manufacturer can have them listed in any order desired on the box.
1,2-HexanediolOrigin(s): Synthetic.used as a softening agent, moisturizer, and the main function is to improve the performance of skin care products, inhibit the activity of microorganisms, and improve the function of anti-corrosion system. More Info.
Alcohol DenatOrigin(s): Vegetable, SyntheticDenatured alcohol is an alcohol that is not suitable for consumption to avoid excise taxes (indirect taxes, e.g. on alcohol, tobacco or petroleum products) and to prevent to use to create “drinkable spirits”.in cosmetics, it provides a feeling of freshness (after shave, deodorants or perfumes). It is also used in organics with essential oils to avoid the use of a preservative and has interesting properties (astringent, solvent …).Not recommended for very sensitive skin such as baby skin. It can be irritating and tend to dry the skin. More info.

From a physicochemical point of view, a solvent is a liquid substance (under the conditions of application) that dissolves other substances and can be recovered unaltered. Apart from the particular case of water, practically all solvents of scientific or industrial interest are organic compounds.
Initially, in the industrial field, petroleum hydrocarbons (e.g. hexane or benzene) and oxygenated solvents (alcohols, ketones, esters) began to be used mainly as solvents, although they are solvents widely used in industry, they have certain risks associated with human health and the environment, so that, as far as possible, their replacement by alternative solvents is considered. One of the types of solvents proposed as an alternative are chlorocarbons, which are quite safe to handle but on the other hand are carcinogenic.
